Tired of Paying Premiums Yourself?
Ever dreamed of not having to pay premiums yourself and
imagining it automatically deducted from your account or social security? Find
your dreams come true!
Medicare provides you with an easy
way to pay your premiums without doing it yourself. Medicare Easy Pay allows
you to have free electronic payments. You need not worry yourself if you don’t
remember paying your premiums since it will be automatically deducted from your
savings or checking account every month. If you get billed for your Medicare
premiums by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) this is one way
to ease your burden.
Another similar way of paying for Parts
A & B would be by allowing your bank to automatically pay your premiums
monthly by means of enrolling with their online bill payment service. In both
cases, you must first check if your bank offers/allows online bill payment
service if it does then what are you waiting for? Sign up for one now.
Additional information can be found here.
As with Medicare Parts A & B,
you can now choose to pay your monthly Medicare Prescription Drug Plan premium
automatically through your bank. What’s more is that you can now have it
automatically deducted from your Social Security check.
Be aware that for the second option,
it may take several months to start due to processing delays. The first
deduction will be on the third month after you switched or chosen this type of
payment and will deduct three months worth of premiums from your check. After
that, it will be back to a single monthly premium deduction.
